Philipp is Investment Manager for Life Sciences at one of the biggest German VCs. He studied technical biology at the university of Stuttgart. Following a research stay at the Medical University of South Carolina resulting in a publication in the Journal of Clinical Investigation he earned a doctorate degree at the university of Hohenheim. In addition to his scientific education Philipp also obtained a Master of Business Administration in Engineering Management at the Graduate School Rhine-Neckar/University of Applied Science Mannheim. In 2015 he joined the VC team of High-Tech Gründerfonds.
