Doctoral researcher, HIIG
Jessica Schmeiss is a doctoral researcher at HIIG since 2016. Her research focuses on how German SMEs can develop, implement and optimize digital business models. Within the Mittelstand 4.0 initiative funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy she supports the knowledge transfer between Berlin-based Startups and SMEs in the Berlin/Brandenburg region.
Prior to her position as a doctoral researcher Jessica worked in the digital industry at Rocket Internet (2012) and Google (2012-2016).
